Supporting the latest IEEE 802.11ac wireless standard, backwards compatiblity for 802.11b with gigabit ethernet ports. In addition the AirPort extreme can be connected to a USB printer enabling a printer to be shared to all your Apple devices. This wireless router was installed to replace an aging Linksys wireless router that had a 802.11g radio. Existing settings were configured on the new AirPort elminating the need to reconfigure legacy devices.
