This server chassis supports four nodes inside 2U of space. This particular RAID controller was provided as original equipment as an upgrade option and was chosen to ensure compatibility with this server. It contains 512MB of onboard cache and was configured to client specifications with a RAID 1 configuration with a hot spare. This card included licensing for RAID 5 and 6 if desired to be used in an alternate configuration in the future.
